The situations are different, but much of her advice applies to both. I particularly like The Crayon Box That Talked and would add the Christmas Menorahs: The Town That Fought Hate, by Janice Cohn because they suggest that children can do things that make a difference. If you have other suggestions, the rest of us would appreciate hearing what you have to offer.  We must find ways to impact the lives of children so that they will not grow into young adults who hate so viciously.
