I told you it would take a while for me to get it all as it should be. Well, the first improvement is a simpler title, "Worshiping With Children". For some reason I thought I needed the full web address as the title. Thanks to those of you who let me know that was making things difficult to navigate. (See, I am listening and learning!) And, I hope this won't present a problem to those of you who already Liked it (thank you!) under the old title. Please, hang with me and expect to see some more changes as I implement some of your great suggestions.
Including children in the congregation's worship, using the Revised Common Lectionary
If you are just landing here for the first time, WELCOME! This is a blog devoted to providing specific resources to worship leaders who want to include childdren in the congregation's worship. There are two kinds of posts:
1. lectionary -based posts offering suggestions for each text of a given week (These are generally in chronological order except for major seasons which I post way ahead.)
2. short articles about some aspect of including children in the congregation's worship. (See the Popcorn Index for a links to these topics.)
The Lectionary Index, Scripture Index and Date Index will be your friends in finding the material for any given text or day.
Finally, do leave comments here or on Facebook. Tell the rest of us how you adapted an idea here. Share another way to explore a text. Ask a question. We have lots to learn from each other.
